The Big Update
Dear Players,

As you know, we are constantly working to improve our games and adding new, exciting features! We went ahead and made a list of the most exciting changes that took place the last few months on GamePoint:

 

General:

  • We now have a new lobby in most of our Flash games. It looks cooler and you can start a game right away by making use of the Quick Start option. In the Quick Start lobby all you need to do is click on one of the available game mode buttons and you can start a game right away. If you would rather create your own game with personal settings, just click on the lobby button and go from there. An example of the Quick Start can be seen below:

  • Your settings will be saved if you create a game in the new lobby. So, next time you create a game in that lobby, the settings will already be filled in to your liking. Which means you can create games even faster!
  • In the new lobby rooms there is now a new and improved header where you can change the settings of your game and profile in the settings menu, view your badges, the wallet and statistics with the profile button and contact us faster through the help button

  • When switching rooms you will now skip the loading part. You quickly see that chat and roomname change and then you know you are in another room
  • Some of our games sometimes had rooms that showed as full, but they weren't. This has now been fixed!
  • We have added a language pop up which comes up when you enter a room. This pop up will let you know exactly which language is allowed in that room

 

Bingo:

  • In most of the Bingo rooms you now have a chance at winning two diagonal lines, one tilted to the left and the other tilted to the right

 

CardParty:

  • We have added some new animations to make the game more flashy 
  •  In Quick Start you can now either quickly start a Normal game or a Team game

 

RummyClub:

  •  All games that were created in the Quick Start are now recognizable by the green arrow in the top-left corner of the box. This has replaced the lightning bolt, which was often mistaken for a Rummy Blitz game

RoyalDice:

  • The statistics of RoyalDice did not always update properly, this has now been fixed!
  • When you want to switch between Classic mode or Party mode with the Rooms button, you can easily see when a SuperPot is almost filled up in a Party mode room

Poker:

  •  This game has been completely renewed this year, with a new lobby, a new game design - basically a complete revamp of this popular card game
  • There are several Quick Start options to choose from; Limit, No Limit and Sit & Go. Or the Lobby where everyone can create their own, personalized game

You OBVIOUSLY have not changed the fact that all of the Bingo rooms have all of the same daily multiple winners. Every room has the same list each and every day. It is not possible to randomly hit the same 5 people for 2 hours in a room with only 28 people playing....don`t care if your answer is it is RANDOM! Alot of your players think not.

It is similar to rolling a die, for hours, and having it come up a 6 every time. Sure, there is a minuscule (and I do mean minuscule!) probability that it COULD happen, but when has it? Noting the fact that there are the same few winners, for hours, every day and night (no matter the room), blows the miniscule mathematical probability of that occuring right out the window. Therefore, mathematically speaking, it is impossible the winners are random each and every game.

yes i can agree with that. i play in one room for 5 hours straight and could not even get a line let alone a bingo. so i end up losing over 150k in this one room. it is very sad seeing alot of the same winners over and over all the time every day.

right!!! and also, WHY are all the numbers in numerical order??? NOT a standard bingo card. For instance, B15, ONLY at bottom of column, N31 ONLY at top, O61 only at top, and so on. They go from smallest number on top to larger at bottom. NOT NORMAL CARDS!!!! Mix the numbers up GAMEPOINT! NOT buying ever again.

Exactly that's why I stoppped playing ''BINGO'' A lot of us ar convinced they are bots or employees to make it look legit. So I wanted to see if people were right and they were!! that is because alot of the players are silly, and petulant. Bingo , by its very nature is a 95% losing proposition, hence the good payouts. And winning is a streaky business, when you are hot , it can be very Hot. Aside from the fact that Game Point has no motivation to favor certain players(in fact I would argue they have a vested interest in maximum randomness; increasing customer satisfaction) . And if nothing else , it would COST them time, money and effort to rig the outcome. A very poor business model. Finally Therab, and ALL OF THE WHINERS, It is a game, if you arent having fun, dont play, and you cant win everyday, it would be boring. Remember next time you play any online FREE game....even if you pay for premium membership, YOU, and whether you win or lose, are of little to no concern , to the creators, code writers, and administrators of these sights. YOU JUST ARENT THAT IMPORTANT.

I too wonder about the multiple winners back to back over and over, But my biggest concern is I was told by GamePoint that my husband and I have to play off the same account even though we have seperate computers and email addresses. He signed up and that's when we discovered this. He immediately dropped out. BUT there are so many husbands and wives playing, as I have played them in Royal Dice often. Who do you have to know to or what do you have to do to be allowed to play loke "some" can? I don't mind the changes. Think your contests are against the average person playing, but, it's your game and I like it.

As for having to play on the same account, that's incorrect. You and your husband do not have to play on the same account. Each of you can create your own account on GamePoint and play separately. If you are having issues creating separate accounts, please let us know through the 'Contact' link at the bottom of the page or the 'Help' link.

When I go to change rooms in Bingo now and go to the room list, it lists the rooms where I'm playing like International or France but it would be even more helpful if it also listed the dollar amount for each room. That way I would know if I was going to a $5.00 room or a $500.00 room. Right now I either wait to see the price on the bingo cards or go all the way out of the game to look at the master list.

You missed my point entirely here.

i'm not talking about the roomlist at the beginning screen. I mean when you have finished a game of bingo and want to change rooms there is a row of icons at the top that reads "profile, gifts, deposit, settings, rooms and help". When you click on the rooms icon a list will drop down of all the "say" manual rooms in the English section. This list does not have the room amounts on it, which would make choosing another room much easier.

Another thing that gamepoint could add is a Ball Counter. It would makes it easy for us entering in the room to tell if the bingo is coming to a end.

Thanks for your suggestion! There currently isn't a ball counter in the Bingo room, however, if you click on the bowl that the bingo balls are rolling around in, you will see the listed balls/numbers that have already been called. So, that way you can click off all the numbers even if you entered the game after the game has started. Hope this helps!

The pop up factor WAS a good idea, however it's really prejudice to create pop ups that state, "ONLY DUTCH ALLOWED" what makes you think an American, Russian, Indian, or Alien doesn't want to play or learn the game?

I really was taken for seeing such a sore sight. Divide and conquer rather than unity. One of many minute elements that keeps the lobby flooded with drama. Segregation by nationality.

My above rant was about a couple days ago and what i saw. I wish to take back my frame of thinking and say the wording choice may need to be re thought out. I'm sure someone read the words the same as I did.

Can you kindly let us know what the status of the Bingo color bonuses that were supposed to start a few months ago. It seemed they ran for a couple of days then we heard nothing more about it. More information on the status of this would be greatly appreciated.

I playWord Tornado and a lot of players are experiencing issues, such as play button not working, it takes a few clicks to work, tiles sticking, general lagging, being disconnected, yes we all know we'll be told it's our internet that is at fault. But it's frustrating when playing games and we, because of these and other issues are losing games.

A p.s. to my previous comment. It would be nice if the players in Word Tornado, like players in Royal Dice could continue playing to try for Jackpot if a player quits. A lot of opponents quit when they know that the person they are playing is going to hit 1050 points. Thanks

Gamepoint, why are the bingo numbers in numerical order??? Not a standard bingo card! B1 only on top, O75 ONLY on bottom, N45 ONLY on bottom...and so on. Mix the cards up, thats not normal in a real bingo hall. And its not computer generated, ALL of my cards have ALWAYS been this way, and everyone else's too. Please explain why that is, and if you can change it. Until then, I wont be buying anymore.

The numbers are descending order so that people can daub their numbers quicker. The numbers on the bingo balls themselves are generated by our Random Number Generator (RNG). Change the bingo cards also like Lynn said. Perhaps you should use a RANDOM CARD GENERATOR. Sad to see these people lose in Bingo as they do. But then again if they play it they can't complain. So quit playing it. lol..

Please look at the response I posted to LynnFlowers1. The numbers on the actual Bingo balls are from the RNG, so your chances at winning are the same no matter if the numbers on your Bingo card are all over the place, or more easily readable.

I love playing bingo on this site. I have been both a big winner and a big loser. Being a winner always feels better , but losing is also part of the game. This is the best bingo game site as far as I am concerned...it plays like a real bibgo game hall.
I really can't say that I like the canges in the 5.00 room....there are too many splits and I realize that it is designed to do that by you selling multible Identical cards each game. I think it takes the fun out of winning when you have to share so many times...you can never get ahead and rarely break even. I liked the room much more before you changed it. So I rarel play in it now.
I guess that is my only complaint about this site.

I don't think most people are whining just to whine. I have been keeping a log, using plain old pencil and paper. Let me give you just one thing off of my log. I played one day (bingo) and the same two people won the pattern and the bingo 5 games in a row. If the numbers on the cards were generated randomly, like in all bingo halls, and all other bingo sites, I think this would take care of that happening so much. If you really think about it, practically all of my cards are identical to yours, and it's all because the numbers are in numeric order under each letter. The numbers should not be that way at all, EVER. Thats my story and I'm sticking to it. :)

Let me clear something. I am not whining about losing. Im actually one of the lucky ones, and when I lose, I never whine. Its annoying to listen to that all the time. Im simply asking Gamepoint why are the cards in numerical order. Maybe you havent noticed. All columns go from low to high. Thats not a standard bingo card. Ive been playing on this sight for quite some time, and just noticed this. Lol, guess I wasnt very observant. But knowing this now, it took the fun out of it a little. Can almost predict by number what diagonal it will be, and so on. G46 would never be in the top diagonal, just like O75 would never be in a bottom diagonal. Im not wrong here.

You are 100% correct Lynn. The numbers should be scrambled on the cards like real bingo cards. People that play at a real bingo hall, or play other bingo games on the net expect to have to look for their numbers, they do not depend on them being in numerical order. It should not be as it is just to make the numbers easier to find. This is the only site I have EVER played on that puts all the cards in numeric order. If they were standard cards, and you are playing 15 cards and are down to B for any of the lines, then that same B is in the exact same spot on every one of your 15 cards. It is not normal, not standard, and as far as I am concerned, not acceptable.

Do NOT give us a generic answer that they are computer generated, when EVERY SINGLE card is the same way. Low to high in every column. Ive spent ALOT of money on this sight, please give an answer soon.

The information about our RNG and our certification from iTech Labs is the actual information about how our games work and why they are completely random. In short, GamePoint games are games of chance, and that chance is ensured by our RNG. That RNG, though highly mathematical, is what gives you these completely random numbers while you're playing. GamePoint does not have any fake accounts. All GamePoint employees have a GP with the GamePoint logo next to their name. We do have volunteer hosts that moderate chat rooms. They also are visible with a gold star next to their names. Anyone else that claims to be an administrator or an employee without these symbols are not with GamePoint. If you have evidence of fraudlent behavior, please report it so that we can also investigate.

I think some people have learned how to cheat in Bingo. Your team should be able to figure out what is going on and put a stop to it. If I get in a room where the same people win almost every game I leave because in real bingo it's not possible.

Players cannot cheat in Bingo due to our servers. If you suspect a player of cheating, please report them so that we can see what is going on. I'm sorry if you believe the same people are always winning. Some players may be purchasing more cards or perks which makes them appear to win more often. Each card and each player has the same amount of chance to win as every other player; however, the more cards one has, the more chances they have to win only because they have more cards to play.

Thank you for the answer. I understand it helps players find numbers quicker, however, if you were to take a poll, Im sure most would rather have a normal bingo card. It doesnt take much longer to find the number after the letter. Just saying. But thank you.

You are right again. And as for it "helping" them find the numbers faster, there is another solution. This suggestion is to Gamepoint.... Scramble the numbers like they are suppose to be, and in the manual rooms, put another second or two between the balls coming out. That would take care of what you believe to be the reason for the cards to be in numeric order. Otherwise, if you are down to 1 number for any line, pattern, or bingo on more than one card, and for instance it's a G, then your only chance to win is for that number to come out. And you can be sure there are other people in the room waiting on the same G, that is why sometimes there are so many winners on that number, that you only win something like 1.23 "cents. I have probaby played on 30 sites or more, and you are the only one that does not have standard cards. That should tell you something. I just don't think you thought it all the way thru when you were creating the game on your site. There is always more than one way to skin a cat, if you think about it.

I wish to address something... There is nothing wrong with more than 1 account in a household, for instance, I live with my sister. One day I was gone, and she was having trouble with her computer so she signed in to GP on mine. She could not get her daily gift because I had already claimed mine that day, and I assume it is because she was using my i.p. address. This is not right. Some households only have 1 computer, and may have 3 people that use it, but only one of them can claim the daily coins. In fact, she said she got a pop-up that said "somebody in your household has already claimed the daily gift". Speaking of your daily "gifts", the amounts are petty and unacceptable. If you are down to zero coins, and claim only 45 that day, then you can only play 3 games of 1 cent bingo if you play max cards, and if you have no win, you are done for the day unless you put out some $$. I think that is very selfish of you. Daily gifts should be at least 1000, and if you want to give VIP a little more, then fine. It really seems like you want our money more than you want us to like, enjoy, and recommend your site to others. Think about that for a while, discuss it, come up with something better. Your "gifts" are nothing more than pathetic. I do love playing, but cannot pull out my credit card all the time. So I leave and play elsewhere.

Another thing I would like to ask about...How come some players can play multiple rooms at once, and some cannot? I tried it, and it kicked me out of the first room I went in to. If somebody wins and their name is not on the list, then we know they are playing multiple rooms. If it is acceptable to do, and apparently it is, then tell all of us how to do it so we can, if we chose to do so. This could be one reason that half of all the Super Pots are won by the same people all the time. They are playing more rooms, therefore playing more cards and have a better chance. I won part of a line one day in super, I think i had to split it about 5 ways, and a couple of those winners went on to win the pattern or the coverall, and it happens repeatedly. These people are already loaded with coins, and it's partially because they can play multiple rooms. If this is a "legal" tactic, tell all of us how to do it without getting disconnected from a room when you try to go in to another room. Those of us that cannot do it feel like we are being cheated out of an equal opportunity. I am not a computer geek, but I do feel like I have a lot of common sense. I am a very detailed "thinker", that is why my posts are so long and detailed. It's just the way my mind works. I really think you should listen to me, as well as some others about their complaints and suggestions.

Hi GPST, In CP there is no option to accept if you want in that particular game. If I accidently click on a table I am stuck and I don't have a choice to opt out. I should have the option to accept if I want to spend ????c in a game. This is very frustrating to say the least. When it is really busy tables move around pretty quickly. I have had friends waiting on me because I clicked on the wrong table and was stuck. It really is not fair especially if I wanted a 100c game and ended up in a 500c game with no way out fast enough. Please consider bringing this option back it would be very much appreciated. Thank you for your time and have a nice day :-)

Hi again, I almost forgot, since your big update we can no longer invite friends or challenge other players in CP. Is this permanent or just a needed fix? To LynnFlowers & magmil....I agree wholeheartedly about the placement of numbers on the cards and get right to the point & say I believe it gives GP an edge. The numbers drawn may be random...but may be random in groups. Like they said themselves, it is highly mathematical. It is not a coincidence that the numbers on the cards are stacked like they are. It gives them an advantage of who will probably win or not...who is in a more probable group. I figured that out very quickly. They are never, ever, ever going to admit to this of course. They also have highly sophisticated marketing strategies for the gaming industry. They know exactly how to lure you in, make you buy and keep buying just like any casino does, but this one is pretty sophisticated for an online gaming site. I'm sure they have paid a prettty penny for all of the 'thinking heads' that have developed these technical & psychological game strategies, but it's paying off very handsomely for them...anyone who's played this site for a while knows this is no ordinary online gaming site...it's a million dollar baby for them. Not us. If you are prone to gambling, you'd probably do better in a real bingo hall or casino. But this is way more convenient for the elderly or handicapped, they know this too.

And, I should add...this kind of marketing is not unique to just the gaming industry. As consumers, everywhere we go, look or hear..we are being marketed to. Marketing is here to stay and is BIG business in our world-economy. It's not the simple bill-board or magazine ad anymore. It's highly sophisticated stuff. Even your standard grocery store has some pretty technical marketing strategies we're not aware of. That's why everything we buy in a typical grocery store is actually purchasd from about 4 large corporations...everything in the store! Mom & pop business can't compete with the expensive marketing strategies these large corporations use, so they get bought out or 'go under'. As consumers, it's best we are aware that they are trying to empty our wallets as fast as they can and are pretty good at doing it, and they'll only get better and better at it. Spend carefully and wisely!

I would tend to agree, that you are doing a bang up job , with the exception ,(I KNOW I AM NOT THE ONLY ONE TO SAY THIS) that when the First Big Fix/Tune up occurred...you killed my ABSOLUTE favorite Game Point game. DARTS.
THE ROOM WAS NEVER , EVER EMPTY, AND YET SOME OF THE GAMES THAT REMAIN ARE QUITE OFTEN UNPOPULATED AT ALL.
I played with and learned a little German, some Hungarian, even some Italian.
I beg of you, bring it back....it was very fun, and challenging, quite similar to actual darts.

you also need to change where people can get into a couple rooms at one time during the supers or anytime for that matter and win multiple times it is not fair to all us other people gp...really need to make some serious changes ...tired of losing all the time the same winners over and over again..Yes I won a super before and I thank you for that but you already took all that back from me ..the rich get richer and the poor get poorer...Do something about the issues in BINGO or ill STOP playing..Oh and stop using ROBOTS to win big moneys how fair is that for people who buy into thos fake ass game ...I appreicate the wins i do randomly get but you wont EVER get a dime from me to play this Free game ...DISGUSTED!!!!!!!

Obviously your game developers do not understand the concept of the bingo game. If you google images of a standard bingo card you will not find ANY in which the numbers are in numerical order...because THAT is the randomness of the bingo game !!!You see EVERY bingo game uses what you call a random number generator...that is what the cage with the balls coming out of is ! But the way your cards are set up is completely and totally wrong and you people are just too plain stupid to get it !!!

Sally, Unfortunately, they DO understand the real concept. But they have less control of the outcome. They control who wins, or has more chances to win...put it that way. It's an up and down thing to get you to buy. You win a super, it's fun...you get to play in any room. Next thing you know, you're buying to get that fun back. It's all marketing. See my (2) posts above! Good luck, I still play..but I know how rigged it is.

I guess it's my turn to add a few points that I think need to be changed.

- The numbers on the bingo cards need to random and NOT in numerical order. That is not the way bingo is played.

- A timer needs to be placed on players that are not playing and just sitting in the room to keep their place in the room. They only seem to pop back in when it's time to play the super and then they are gone again. This is very unfair to those that would like to play in specific rooms but can't get in because the room is full and refuse to pay for a Super VIP or VIP membership because they don't want to waste money on a game that is fixed.

- It's the same winners over and over again. As I read in an earlier post, the rich get richer and the poor get poorer.

- You need to take away the multiple winners in the $5 rooms. Not only is it hard enough to win but it's next to impossible to get ahead with having to share anytime you do win.

hi Valerie....they have to "let us win" according to their strategy of keeping us buying. What better way to do it than multiple bingos in their most popular rooms? Since we don't win that much, but it's probably enough to keep us buying. I'm getting tired of this game, still play..but not anything like I used to. Their main objective is to get us to buy. That's not always achieved by letting us win a whole lot at a time, therefore we have to buy.

I agree with the random numbers, but I don't believe the cards are random. Everyone who plays bingo, and has for a long time, either online or personally in their hometowns, knows there are good cards and bad cards. AND, since you have started putting out duplicate cards intentionally so there are more winners it makes me wonder if you are not purposely giving the good cards to certain players. Why, I have no idea, but it's a possibility. I know from the chat that hardly anyone is happy with the duplicate cards and more winners. It's riduculous anymore! It was hard enough to win a bingo before you added the duplicate cards. Now, it's almost impossible to win a bingo, and if you are lucky enough to get a win you don't win enough to even make it worth the money spent to pay for the cards to play because there are SO many winners and the winnings are SO low with that kind of shares on the bingos! This used to be the best bingo site online!!! It's a joke now! Game Point used to get anywhere from $50 to sometimes $100 a week from me so that I could play the bigger rooms and continue to play on Game Points bingo site. But, no more!!! It's not worth it anymore, and it's just not any fun anymore! I will come and get my free coins every day and watch to see if you will ever make the changes you need to make to make this site the best online again! With all the complaints and you are still not making the changes people want it's obvious you don't care about your faithful players.
