Have you ever wanted to ask GamePoint a particular question? Do you want to give your suggestions on what games GamePoint should work on in the future? Want to directly give feedback on your GamePoint experience? Now is the perfect opportunity to ask a GamePoint staff member! On April 23rd at 10AM (EST), AidaGP will be available in PartyPlanner (CardParty) to answer all your questions.

And just a reminder, you can always get in touch with GamePoint via our Helpdesk. We're happy to discuss all sorts of questions, issues and even take feedback there. While our staff members try to be social in chat as much as possible (staff members are also working on game and support issues), we want to highlight this particular opportunity to get to know everyone better.

Update! Here's what we discussed:

Q: When will we see more GamePoint games on mobile?

A: It would be great to see more of our favorite games on mobile, definitely.  And in the meantime, we hope you’re enjoying Bingo on Android & iPhone and saw that with your feedback, we’ve made improvements like adding the Bingo caller on Android! If you have an iPad, then you can enjoy CardParty, RoyalDice and WordTornado there as well. We don’t have an ETA at the moment for more apps, but we hear you and we’re glad you’re excited!

 

Q: Will we be celebrating American-centric events?

A: We’re always looking for reasons to celebrate! As an American myself, I definitely think it’s important to pay attention to American events and to do them properly (be they fun ones or somber ones).  We've paid special attention to Thanksgiving and the SuperBowl for example.  Count on me to push special things for our English-speaking community! 

 

Q: What happens during lag/when we get disconnected?

A: If you get disconnected during games like RoyalDice or CardParty, you'll see white screen with the timer, which gives you an opportunity to reconnect while your opponent waits for you.  If you're playing automatic Bingo, then the system is marking numbers for you.  But in manual mode, the game will continue without you.  

Even if your computer says you’re still connected, there can still be very brief lapses where there is no data being transferred.  For example, when you go to a webpage like Youtube, the page loads and there is no other data transfer until you click or load something.  And if you unplug your router, the page is still there until you click somewhere.  But when you’re playing on GamePoint, you’d immediately receive that white screen saying there was a disconnection. 

 

Q: Glad to see Rummy upgraded! When will we see Teasers go through the same? Why is it difficult recently to connect to Java games?

A: Happy to hear it! While we don’t have an ETA on Teasers yet, but you've noticed that we're moving forward and converting our Java games to Flash. In the meantime, we are aware that it’s become difficult for players on Chrome to access Java games.  So even when your Java is perfectly installed and updated, things like the recent Chrome update can block Java.  For Chrome, you can contact our Helpdesk which will assist you through the following steps:

  1.        Open Chrome
  2.        In your address bar, type: chrome://flags
  3.        Search for “NPAPI,” which can be located near the top
  4.        Enable NPAPI
  5.        Close the entire browser or click on “Relaunch Now” at the bottom
  6.        Restart Chrome
  7.        Try a Java game

 

Q: Wish that players without a subscription had more smileys

A: Everyone gets treated to our awesome seasonal and event smileys! So we have our spring smileys on because it’s spring.  For example, the little crowned smileys you see are in celebration of the Dutch king whose birthday is celebrated this week.  So every now and then, you’ll also see smileys in honor of specific countries too. And you'll notice opportunities for VIP subscriptions, such as during events and via Facebook too so players can enjoy VIP perks for free.

 

Q: When there be another Coin sale? Spill your guts!

A:That’s information that isn’t available until it happens (but I hear players definitely wanting one soon). My guts are squishy and red, but there won’t be info about any sales in there. 

 

Q: Why does it seem that the same people win repeatedly in Bingo?

A: The balls that are called and the numbers on every card are randomly generated by a 3rd party tested and certified computer program.  It’s not possible for anyone to decide what balls come out or what numbers appear on cards during a game.  Bingo is ultimately a game of chance and it’s really cool when you catch a lucky break. Q: Sometimes players with more than 250 Coins appear in the Freeroll rooms. Why?

A: A player could have won or deposited while in a Freeroll room (which brings up their Coin amount), but generally if a player is able to enter then they can stay as long as they want.  But once a player is above the limit when they leave and try to re-enter, then it’s not possible.  You’re welcome to contact Helpdesk if you have any concerns about players in the rooms so we can investigate. Otherwise, since cards cost 0 Coins, there’s no loss for playing in that room.  Don’t forget about claiming free Coins every 3 hours and by sharing with your Facebook friends.

 

Q: (Since you’re several time zones ahead) What does the future look like?

A: The Red Sox lose. (Please note that Aida is a New Yorker and life-long Yankee fan)

Hey there, I apologize for not being able to send a report to you about my issue, however, I was playing bingo then all of a sudden it said reconnecting, then I was unable to leave the room, force log out, and even when I fully logged out, deleted my cookies and such, I logged back in, click on the bingo from the home page only to be faced with the login by another username or force logout screen. I tried to send a report, I was unable to. I am logged in through GamePoint. It is not my internet connection (I am a Network Administrator myself). I have been a paying member of GamePoint for many years, in fact I just renewed my subscription today. I love this site and am very diappointed at what this situation is. Please remedy this as soon as possible. Thank you.

Hi Iamurmuse, sorry to hear that happened. It looks like though you've been able to connect and play normally afterwards which is definitely good news. Should this happen again, there's a link at the bottom of the gamescreen 'Contact' or even here on the homepage (the 'Contact' link in the gray taskbar) where you can send a Help request labeled 'Game Issues'. This helps us investigate the issue in case others are experiencing as well at the same time you are. Thanks for letting us know and best of luck in your games!

hi, is there anyway of changing the amount of jokers in card party as you play some games only to find your opponent had over 20 of them. is there no way you could limit it and maybe give everyone the same amount of jokers to use if and when they please. i have also had over 20 jokers in a game and it makes it quite boring to play all your cards before your opponent even plays one. this is just my personal opinion,, thankyou.

Hey mandy1964, card order and thus whether a Joker appears is determined by RNG (a process done by an independently certified computer program that does not allow for any manual intervention or bias) But thanks for your feedback. I can definitely image how too many appearing can change the dynamic of the game.

Hi, If i may ask. How do you remove friends that you have added. But, not Facebook friends. I dont go throught facebook? thank you. And yesterday,, I tryed many times to get on Bingo. and it would not load for me. Do you know why? I am going to try now again today. Wish me luck.?

Hi kgrace1! Are you referring to friends on GamePoint? Click on your friendslist in-game and you'll see a little pencil. Clicking this pencil lets you edit your list and you'll see X's to remove friends from your list. As for connecting on the 26th and 27th, it looks like you were able to play plenty of Bingo so it looks like everything works fine now. :)

i recently tried to log in under my user name as SarahS728 and it said my password was incorrect i tried again same thing. then i dont know what happened but it started me all over as PaigeSeals1 as a new player. I was VIP what happened to my me where am I and what about the status i paid money for? i need help please. I have never got a response for anything i have submitted so im trying this. Email me please. [email protected], or [email protected], or [email protected]. I love this website and I prefer to stay but will leave if treated wrong to me that is theft.

Did you try to recover your password (when you're logged out, here is the link: //www.gamepoint.com/cockpit/lostlogininfo.php)? Otherwise please contact our Helpdesk and we can try to verify your account (we'll be asking for sensitive details, thus it's safer for you to do it there) and see about getting you access asap!

I love your new Bingo app for android my only problem is when im playing a game 3 times now my finger hit the extra card button and i was forced to play all three cards at the very end of the game i have lost lots of coins because of this i think there should be a conferm your purchase offered instead od hitting the button accidently and automaticly have to play all the cards plz fix this its so annoying thanks GP
